Chilli Con Carne

  • Minced Meat 1.2 kg
  • Chopped Tomatoes 800g
  • Tomato Puree 50g
  • 4 Medium Chilli Peppers
  • 2 Cloves Of Garlic
  • Butter 2 Tbsp
  • 400ml Gravy
  • 250g Kidney Beans
  • 200g Sweetcorn
  • 500g Onion
  • 3 Tsp Salt & 1.5 Pepper
  • 150G Sour Cream

Prepare all ingredients. Chop the onions, garlic and chilli into small pieces.

Fry the onions, garlic, chilli peppers and tomato paste in butter.

Put the vegetables on the edge of the pan and sear the minced meat.

Deglaze with the stock and the tomatoes. Reduce the chilli for about 90 minutes at about 120 degrees. To reduce liquid, tilt the lid a little.

Add corn and beans after about 90 minutes and cook for another 30 minutes.

Season the finished chili con carne with salt and pepper and serve with a piece of sour cream.
